The concept is inspired from artwork created by azfrankenstein https://twitter.com/azfrankenstein
Intended to function as a video game soundtrack - the main character is fleeing her homeland with a newborn child. The first track would be the main theme and play during the opening sequence + menu. The second serves as an "explore" track that would be background during gameplay where no conflict arises. The third is intended to be during a "chase" or "danger" scene. And the final track is the endgame - our protagonist has found her destination safely.
I've tried to create an atmosphere of equal parts adventure and mystique. The woods she travels through are mysterious and exotic, but I didn't want to lose that "earthy" feel. To do this I've chosen to use a collection of sample libraries that might evoke a mix of both an ethereal sound and a comforting familiarity:
Spitfire Audio:
Hans Zimmer Strings, Stratus pianos, Albion Solstice
East West Instruments:
Ra pan flute and Shakuhachi, Symphonic Orchestra
Orchestral Tools: Arkhis
I hope you enjoy this short EP! Please let me know what you think - something you liked but also some ways I could improve the score. Thank you!

Dear AudioJim,
I love your music. I feel that your music is alive and has a soul. How can I describe to you the way I feel about your music? I want to say that the music you create is living; it has life.
I am an indie game developer, and I would like to use your music in my future projects. Many of the tracks on your SoundCloud are treasures to me. Before discovering your music, I listened to countless other pieces, and finally, I came across your creations. I am very happy because I found the music I was looking for, which perfectly matches the open world I am creating.
